The Magic City Railwatch Spring 2026

About Our Event:

The Magic City Railwatch started in March of 2025 and now is a twice a year event held in Irondale, Alabama then moved into downtown Birmingham in the afternoon.

Morning Session: Railfans meet trackside near the historic red caboose platform in Irondale, exchanging stories and capturing passing freight manifests.
Afternoon Session: The crowd shifts to the nearby 21st Street bridge, which offers an unobstructed overhead vantage point to photograph and film incoming and outgoing locomotives.

We also give out Magic City Railwatch shirts made by our friends at Rail Moments on Youtube so grab one while you visit, we also this November Railwatch are giving out special gifts from Team NS so grab those aswell!
